Question 1

How does SkinZeno work?

Accepted Answer

SkinZeno is an online marketplace where you can buy digital in-game items ("skins") for Counter-Strike 2. You sign in with Steam, save your Steam trade link, pick an item on the market and pay for it by card. Delivery happens through Steam's trading infrastructure. SkinZeno acts as the operator of the platform and merchant of record for payments: it isn't a bank, wallet, or money-transfer service.

Question 2

Why do I need to connect my Steam account, and why isn't trading available right away?

Accepted Answer

Steam authentication and a saved Steam trade link are required to buy and receive items. After you connect, some features may stay temporarily unavailable if your Steam account is subject to a trade hold, security waiting period, or verification check. These are imposed by Steam itself (for example after a password reset, new device, or setting up Steam Guard) and are outside SkinZeno's control.

Question 3

Who can use SkinZeno?

Accepted Answer

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. SkinZeno may ask for proof of age or identity verification at any time, and access will be restricted if you're found to be underage or in a sanctioned or restricted location.

Question 4

How are my payments processed? Does SkinZeno hold my money?

Accepted Answer

Each purchase is paid for individually by card (Visa or Mastercard, with 3D Secure verification) on a hosted payment page operated by authorized third-party payment service providers, with SkinZeno acting as merchant of record for each transaction. You pay only for the item you've selected at checkout, and SkinZeno doesn't hold funds on your behalf or keep any stored credit on your account.

Question 5

How do I receive my item after paying?

Accepted Answer

Once your payment succeeds, our trade bot sends the item to you as a Steam trade offer using the trade link saved in your profile. Open Steam and accept the offer within about 15 minutes. After you accept, the item appears in your Steam inventory. Make sure your trade link is up to date and your Steam account is able to trade before you buy.

Question 6

What happens if I don't accept the trade offer in time?

Accepted Answer

If the trade offer expires, is declined, or the item can't be delivered for another reason (for example, it became unavailable), contact support at support@skinzeno.com with your order details. Support will review the case and let you know the next steps. Where a refund is due, it's handled by support and returned to your original payment method.

Question 7

Why do trade holds exist, and can SkinZeno remove them?

Accepted Answer

Trade holds and protection periods aren't set by SkinZeno. They're applied by [Steam](https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/365F-4BEE-2AE2-7BDD#whichtrades){target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"} on its side, depending on the trade and the status of the Steam accounts involved. We can't shorten or override them, and any restrictions Steam places on an item you receive are outside our control.

Question 8

Can I get a refund after a purchase is completed?

Accepted Answer

Generally no. Once an item has been successfully delivered and the trade offer accepted, the transaction is final. Refunds are only considered in limited cases, such as failed delivery, confirmed technical errors, duplicate charges, or unauthorized payment activity. To request one, contact support at support@skinzeno.com. Refunds are handled by support and returned to your original payment method.

Question 9

What items can't be traded on SkinZeno?

Accepted Answer

Prohibited items include stolen or fraudulently obtained items, items from compromised or restricted accounts, items under an ownership dispute or chargeback, Steam account credentials or account rentals, game keys, gift cards, subscription codes, cryptocurrencies or NFTs, and items from any gaming ecosystem not expressly supported by the platform.

Question 10

What happens if I have a dispute or think something went wrong with a trade?

Accepted Answer

You can contact support at support@skinzeno.com. SkinZeno reviews disputes using available technical evidence (trade logs, API data, timestamps and payment records), and where delivery is already confirmed through these records, related refund or reversal claims are generally not granted. You may be asked for extra information such as screenshots or transaction references.

Question 11

Can my account be suspended, and why?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SkinZeno can restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts (sometimes without prior notice) for reasons like suspected fraud, chargebacks, account compromise, prohibited items, market manipulation, multi-accounting, use of bots or scripts, or breaches of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy. You remain responsible for any obligations or disputes that arose before the suspension.
